The final field and barrier draw has been released for the Group 2 Stan Fox Stakes, which is due to run at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse this Saturday September 29, 2012.
Just seven horses will line up for a run in the $250,000 race, including Albrecht.
Albrecht has won two of his four race starts and has earned more than $300,000 in prize money.
The Redoute’s Choice colt finished second to stable mate Epaulette in the Group 1 Golden Rose at Rosehill Gardens last start.
Earning himself a tidy $200,000 for his troubles, Albrecht also proved himself to be a big spring contender this season.
Albrecht has drawn barrier seven for the 2012 Stan Fox Stakes and will be ridden by jockey Kerrin McEvoy.
Also included in the 2012 Stan Fox Stakes final field and barrier draw is Kabayan.
Kabayan has won one of his five race starts and has earned more than $170,000 in prize money.
The three-year-old placed fifth in the $1 million Golden Rose last start after posting a gallant second in the Group 3 HDF McNeil Stakes in his first-up spring start.
Trained by Gai Waterhouse, Kabayan was favoured by his trainer to claim the Golden Rose title.
Kabayan has drawn barrier five for the 2012 Stan Fox Stakes and will be ridden by jockey Nash Rawiller.
Mama’s Choice and Trophies are also included in the 2012 Stan Fox Stakes final field and barrier draw.
